Woodbury Pewter
Woodbury Pewter was founded in 1952, in the town of Woodbury, Connecticut by Ruth Holbrook and Lee. R Titcomb. The original location was a small blacksmith shop in the center of town. While it is now in much larger and highly efficient quarters, they remain a fixture in Woodbury. Each piece they create continues to be hand crafted from the highest quality pewter using many of the same methods and tools that were used in the 18th and 19th centuries. They specialize in fine reproductions of early American pieces. Woodbury Pewter also specializes in the creation of a large selection of individually designed and handcrafted products, which can incorporate your own custom artwork or logos. These provide excellent items for commemoratives, fund raisers, trophies and awards. Woodbury Pewter was also one of the founders of the American Pewter Guild and largely responsible for the standardization of pewter components in the United States. All of their pewter, therefore, is an alloy comprised of 92% tin, 6% antimony, and 2% copper. Woodbury Pewter is also one of the charter members of our Made In Connecticut presentation. We are delighted to be to offer a few of the works by their master craftsmen. To see their full catalog please visit www.WoodburyPewter.com
